Sorry I cant understand the thread properly, is it able to start on easy start or is it not trying at all? As this would indicate timing or something more major if it doesn't even try to start on the easy stuff. When you crank for more than 6 seconds, does the glow plug light come on?

You can chuck a lot of money into by replacing random parts if it is not properly diagnosed

I agree with sheamus on the sensors but just in case you havent considered it have you checked the battery voltage if the car has been allowed to cool then you need full battery voltage and full battery power to give good torque to the flywheel to give the engine sufficient momentum to get it motoring so did you check the battery for voltage and is it capable of carrying the engine load.....it there is any thing even slightly iffy as in the timing or the injection pump metering valve all of these systems need a good voltage when cranking the starter motor robs most of the current available from the battery soo even if you have only a few volts down from the full twelve then this will magnify when the motor is being cranked....s
