Hi to all,
I have no reading at all on my temp gauge(doesn't move at all) I've checked the thermostat in a jug full of boiling water and it just cracked open, so this seems fine- I know this can be a pain.
I've done a instrument panel check, all the dials move and lights come on as they should,
I've even bridged out the connector going to the cylinder head sensor and got nothing, I wonder if I've done something very wrong though doing that, as a quick look on google shows the cylinder head sensor wires going to the ECU and that doesn't sound like the old type you could "earth out". Is there a way to test if this connector is sending a signal to the ECU/Clocks?? I haven't earthed out either of the terminals just put a piece of copper wire accross the two to see if anything moved, Would this be faulty wiring somewhere or a blown fuse, don't want to stump up for a sensor and do the relevant mucking about if the sensors ok!
Any help would be appreciated
