TalkFord.com was originally known as FordMondeo.org, which grew to become the predominant Ford Mondeo website in the UK. In September 2010, FordMondeo.org became known as TalkFord.com, to enable it to grow further by encompassing all the other available Ford models that have been released since the 1970's, and also for all future models.
TalkFord.com is a website which people visit to discuss the following Ford models; Capri, Cortina, Cougar, Escort, Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Galaxy, Granada, Ka, Kuga, Mondeo, Puma, C-Max, S-Max and Sierra.
As well as our core Ford forums, we also have very busy dedicated sections for off-topic, electronics, sports, comedy etc
TalkFord.com is free to use for technical advise. We do not charge you for asking questions, seeking advise, or using many of the other functions of the site. We do not sell anything except advertising campaigns to advertisers, and a subscription service known as the "Gold Members" scheme which gives access to the non-Ford related sections of the site, and to the classifieds section. We only ask that you, as a visitor to TalkFord.com, allow us to show you the adverts which sustain and help grow this resource.
How do people use the forums?
It's easy. You don't need to be a member to read our forums, but if you wish to post a message, the first thing you need to to is register, which you can do by clicking here (it's free and takes a few minutes). Then you can post a message, either by replying to an existing thread, or creating a new thread of your own. If you are not familiar with how to use forums, we ask that you read our Help pages in order to appreciate how things are done.
Which forum is most relevant?
Since our website covers many Ford models, we have a lot of forums. For convenience the forums are grouped into models. For example, the Focus category contains the Electrical forum, which is specifically for Focus electrical problems.
Take your time to browse the categories and forums before choosing the one which is most suitable for your new message.
Our best advice if you are new to our forum is to take your time browsing to get an idea of where everything is. Don't be intimidated by the amount of information. Just focus on what interests you.
I feel reluctant to join in because I'm new to the subject
We're all new to the subject at some time. Our rules state that members should treat each other with respect, although we rarely need to enforce these rules as ours is a very friendly community. Please don't feel intimidated by our veteran members, as they are, for the most part, extremely friendly, and you are very welcome here.
Please enjoy visiting the TalkFord.com. We're here to help you.
