Iv recently changed the rear calipers for recon ones, the nearside worked fine but the offside handbrake mechanism didnt work correctly. I then took this back and swapped it for another with the same problem (both times the hydraulics worked perfect) the piston only moved about 2 or 3 millimetres when the lever was operated. I'm just curious as to how the handbrake mechanism works. Iv tried the google but it hasn't turned up what I'm looking for
Mods: Blanked EGR, Auto folding mirrors, De-Cat pipe, Remap (redbitz sorted by Shaun) Aero wipers, Osram Nightbreakers, LED side lights, Interior LEDs and puddle light LEDs, FLI active sub (1000w), K&N 57i induction kit

This is for a VW but ford units work in a similar war.
