hi, ive got an LX TDcI with the zetec 9 spoke alloys on.

i have the 205/55 R16 tyres courtesy of uniroyal, (rainsport 2's are very nice for the price)

my question is though, WTF were ford thinking with a front pressure of 33Psi?? i filled my tyres with this and they look massively under inflated, i have since filled them again (after double checking i had the correct pressure) to 42 Psi and they still look a little under inflated, and i dont really want to go any higher.

what do you out there, fellow mondy owners, fill your tyre pressures to? the book figure? or what ever feels/looks right?
03 TDci LX model, 754miles to tank... and going up!!!

done so far; mintex front and rear discs and pads, blanked off EGR, K&N panel filter, GW de-cat, focus ST intercooler, RStuning re-map, ARB poly bush

to be done; sony 6cd headunit.

Ever noticed that putting "anal" in front of some ford model names makes them sound funny? Fiesta, Probe, Ranger. Explorer, Maverick etc... lol

i have 32psi in my fronts, more than that and it doesn't seem to hold on bends in the rain, also think going to much doesn't help the springs/shocks.

maybe the diesel engine is much heavier than the petrol variant?

but seriously the front tyres are sittin g way too squashed at only 33psi!
