pretty sure its just upstream of the tank, the connectors are clip on, just make sure the car is adequately supported when in the air with stands or ramps. you might need a new jubilee clip about 20mm bigger than the filter diameter. pretty easy, pull the fuel pump fuse with the engine running and allow it to die of fuel starvation, (depressurises fuel system), free off filter by undoing jubilee clip, disconnect fuel hoses by squeezing clips, you're best off having an old washing up bowl or a gallon can with the side cut off to catch spilt fuel, chuck old filter in bowl and quickly reconnect new filter, sliding the new clip over the last fuel pipe before fitting it to filter, secure filter with new jubilee clip, check for leaks. Refit fuse, turn key to position 2 and listen for pump to prime and cut off, do this about 3 further times then check filter area for leaks. If all's good, start car, it might take a crank or two more as the fuel needs to get up to the injectors, then its job done. :L

This is Ford country, listen quietly and you can hear Vauxhalls rusting :)
Ever noticed that putting "anal" in front of some ford model names makes them sound funny? Fiesta, Probe, Ranger. Explorer, Maverick etc... lol
