Just wondering if anyone has any decent pictures of the egr location. I want to blank it but heard it can bring on management light. My focus was blanked and that was a Euro five engine and had problems at all for nearly 30,000 miles.
So I am asking if I could be pointed somewhere for good pictures and a how-to guide for blanking it. Also anyone know the shape of the blank so I've got a rough idea what I'm looking for. Thanks Ryan
I guess there are no good pics available, since the valve is in a very tight space (at least pre-facelift 2.2).
If you remove the engine cover, you'll find a steel pipe of approx 1" in diameter which runs from the throttle housing and above the engine to the right-hand side corner at the back of the engine (when viewed from the front of the vehicle). The EGR is located at the end of the pipe.
That first link was little help but thank you for it any way for it. Right ok then ill have a look. I went onto the bay and it said it's for the front of the engine? Will it still be alright?

Contact that ebay seller, give him all the details of your engine, he has various blanking plates for all the different engines, yours may be different to the one that I found the link for.
I've contacted them and they don't do it for my engine? Any other people?
