No this is on the actuator position sensor, you can get above 100v on it but I meant I set it to -56v as per other cars but error shows up straight away.

Not sure you can if you have an original actuator. But mine has a locking nut and then a thumb wheel which you turn. This either shortens the rod or extends the rod on the actuator. I adjusted it using live data on for scan until I got the desired voltage.

Not the same turbo but same way it can be adjusted. Ours has a position sensor on the actuator so I think that must match what the ecu thinks it needs along with the correct boost.

i found also the brand new ford maf sensor was faulty the air temp was 90c so used old maf. also the readings on the actuator changed greatly once hot. so i adjusted to 0.31v (closest i could get) and rought -50v full vacuum seems ok at the moment no dtc but time will tell when i pull the caravan. ill try do another recording on forscan and post it with boost etc.

The maf sensor doesn't read temperature?

There is an inlet air temperature sensor underneath the anti shudder valve housing, on top a map sensor then the maf sensor is by the air box.

It does there are two air temp, IAT and IAT2, when you unplug the maf it goes to default 40c the new faulty maf registered 90c the old working registered about 13c. IAT2 is on intake

so first time towing since i had this problem, thought car was fine but after some time the car went into limp mode again, few times actually.

On the way back i plugged in the obd2 reader and and watched the results.

So the max boost i got was just over 20psi, the usual intake manifold pressure when max boosting was about 33 psi, the problems seem to occur when the manifold pressure got to 36.1  the boost fluctuating between 15-19 psi , im guessing the car is working out what boost it need, and you can hear a whistling noise which is the high boost? anyway if you keep on the accelerator the boost continues at 36.1 then into limp mode.

error codes

p2263

p010f

p0234

any ideas?

Is that pressure on the screen or live on a guage. You may have sticking vain's or a map sensor fault. Normal flat out boost should be over to 20-25 ish then backs off to 18psi. If its going past that the car is protecting it's turbo and shutting it down. The turbo will not be able to handle continued of that much as oil will not lubricant the bearings fast enough and then overheat... PoP

The first code P2263 is basically saying overboosting.
