I'm currently watching the multi vehicle crash on the emmerdale tv soap.

I've decided that driving VERY near to Emmerdale village is massively dangerous.

It's not because loads of vehicles have crashed, that's normal.
It's because:
a major dual carriageway can suddenly appear about 2 minutes walk from the village after not being seen or heard before.
Cars can somersault several times by simply applying the brakes, and without hitting any other obstacle.
ALL the cars involved can be smashed up enough so that their doors jamb closed but NO airbags went off in any vehicle.
After the crash only people known to live in the village are allowed to speak for several minutes after the accident (walk on actors who speak get paid more ;) )
After crashing, people just decide to sit in their cars moaning (I can understand that, the scenario deserved to be moaned at)
Cars can get to the centre of the accident AFTER PASSING other cars blocking the way without hitting them.

The plus sides.
A man who was stood drinking next to a snack bar was so 'hard' he didn't even turn round and gave a look until the third car had crashed............I'll think I'll try some if the coffee he was on :)

Despite it being in a remote dales location the police and ambulance were in scene in five minutes.....so probably 2.5 to 3.5 minutes after details were passed.

The depressing part: I've heard only ONE cast member dies :(

Looking on the bright side, people say the NHS has poor equipment but if the Ambulance that turned up had only been six miles away it would have needed to do at least 120mph to get there after receiving the details of the location in the time shown on tv.
I'd say that would need high end equipment :)

No laughing here..........I was hoping they'd all die.
I turned to my other half and said 'all we need now is the Coronation street tram to come and land on the survivors'.

Second quote needed lol.
Did you see whatever it was that flew over the vicar 'dukes of hazard/knight rider' style. I didn't quite catch it :)

That wouldn't be Andy Sugden would it? Seems an extravagant way to write someone out of the soap.

Not to worry, you should still be able to catch up with his antics 10 weekends a year.

He wasn't involved. I've been told he's on the run for a crime he didn't commit.

This crash for less cash scenario was a way of having a bit of fun whilst getting rid of

all the old cars that was making emmerdale look cheap.

I'd have loved one or all of the emmerdale cars. They are far better than anything I've got!
The cars on emmerdale can drive all year round on country roads or farm tracks but are always clean when they get to the centre of the village. All of my cars have always got muddy driving in the country!!!
