I'm pretty sure there is an underlying problem with your car. You need to get that resolved before attempting to Bluefin it.

In standard trim(without Bluefin) You only get 202Bhp (this is the corrected value at the crank) the wheel bhp is 171 according to the numbers you provide on the 2nd pdf.

You should achieve around 215-220Bhp i standard form, if the car is behaving as it should.

I think there is a leak somewhere on either the vacuum or the boost side. The boost solenoid is known to cause problems, so I would start checking if that is OK.

As others pointed out, and AFR(AirFuelRatio) of 14,7 is too lean at full throttle. I think the eginemanagement recognises this, at reduces timing/boost etc. to spare the engine.

Have you had fault codes read out?

Anders,

thanks for replying.

The figures quoted are at the wheel rather than the crank and on the Ford map it acheived 202 BHP at the wheel. I've looked at the second graph and can't see where you get the 171 BHP from, if you could help.

I haven't got a code reader so i can't check that out. I know i need to get one, it's knowing what to get.

Its says 171,9 wheelpwr on the RR2.pdf You have attached, not the graf, but the numbers written on the test-page.

Trust me, on the standard map, You are not getting nowhere close to 202bhp at the wheels, thats impossible on a 217bhp car.. it's definetly crank output.

I've just ordered this myself

Should be good with Forscan to read out fault-codes etc.

I seems to me your car is down 12-18 bhp, and this needs to get sorted before the Bluefin map is added.

Anders,

i see where you're coming from now. Even Superchips didn't mention the point re the second PDF.

Funnily enough i was looking at that same link earlier. I take it Forscan is the same wherever it comes from or are there different versons of it?

My Tunnelrat modified ELM just arrived to today. It is indeed able to read out a massive amount of information via Forscan.

Had a ton of fault codes from a flat battery (a lot of low voltage errors stored).

So Martin, go ahead and order Yourself one... it's easy the $$ worth.

Theres is 3 different version... a USB one for connecting a laptop, a Bluetooth one for conecting an Android device, and a wifi one for connecting Iphone/Ipad.

I ordered both the USB and Bluetooth version.
