Hi , did an complete engine switch and everything seems to bee allright.

Recoded injectors into ecu.

The only old part used from original engine is the turbo with electric actuator.

When trying to start nothing happens, almost nothing, when turning key into running mode all controllamps appears to in a normal order lit and secvently go off  , glowlamp  last , only gen. and oilpress. remain ,as I belive is right , but the yellow engineshaped lamp also remain on.

When trying to start nothing happens , the starter doesn´t turn, not even a click as if battery low.

Could this be some immobilisertrouble and how could it be fixed ?

Orignal cars all electrics still in use , locks are working with remote as normal just no startermotor turnover ?

No fault codes , no old ones from before aswell as no new ones.

The old engine had some injectorissues and probably cracked pistons on 1 and 3 cyl. , resulted in mayor grand finale with lots of smoke , rewing as hell and stopping by high gear and clutch release aganinst full brake as turning key had no success. ( As told by old owner ).



My car 2008 Transit van 130hp TDCi , donercar  2009 Transit van 110hp TDCi, probably it will now have 130hp aswell as all electrics are still from the original 130hp car ?


Any ideas , anyone ?

Well, shameful to say , so far at least one standard part with origin from Henry´s model T faild on this projekt , due to beliving donercar seller saying " all running unit " , THE STARTERMOTOR was crappy stuff.


No wonder , seemingly all ok and still no start , now it at least cranks ok.


Now project continue with getting air out of fuelsystem and other small adjustments , hope for a "runner" and Mot next week ...

watch the immobiliser led, see if it begins rapid flashing when you attempt to start. If so, it might be an immobiliser issue, or flat battery.

to bleed, fill the fuel filter right to the top, refit filter, then try cranking the engine while spraying easy start, brake cleaner or similar into the air intake.
