This morning all of the windows in my Mondeo Ghia 2.0 TDCI were fully open.
The car had not been burglarized as nothing was removed and there was no sign of abuse.

Has anyone experienced this, ie. all windows opening by themself when the car is turned off and locked.

Any guesses what the cause might be?

Fortunatelly it wasn't raining.

Was the doors all locked?

If the unlock button on the keyfob is held down, all the windows will open

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you send the wall across the field once you've hit it.

On my mk3 the windows all open on the fob, but if no doors are opened the car relocks.

Could be you caught the button as some point and the car opened up but re-locked!?

The doors were locked.

This is 2005 mondeo. The remote has three buttons on it, lock/unlock/tailgate.

Dan,

It doesn't dead lock as I tried it the other day during the hot weather, opened all the windows with the remote whilst talking to a friend and then opended the car after re-locking with the inside door handle.

The alarm did go off though.
