The title says it all really. Can anyone give me a rough guide as to how much a dual mass flywheel and clutch assm cost to fit?

Thank you

They reckon that with parts you can pay £500 at about the minimum for a dmf and clutch and fitting on a mk3. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! :susel:

I see from your signature that you have a 2.5 v6 petrol. Why are you replacing the DMF? Has it actually failed?

The DMF and clutch is not for the V6. Sadly my Omega got a whack in the rear by a lorry and has been written off. I was offered a very cheap MK3 Mondeo estate but it requires a clutch. Trouble is, I don't want to buy the car and find I am paying a vast amount of money for the clutch, thereby negating any saving I might make on the cost of the car.

As it is at present, it looks like the my current MK2 estate, which has been undergoing protracted repairs, may being getting resurrected and put back on the road somewhat sooner that I had originally thought
