I've read the notice about the distribution of radio codes and that.. but I feel I'm asking a pretty harmless question.
But do Ford set the stereos to use default codes from factory condition?
I can't find my audio book, and completely forgot that disconnecting the battery would do that.
But I have a feeling that the code would be left as the default.
Am I allowed to ask what the default codes are?

Don't think there is a default code? If you can, using removal keys slide the radio console half out, write down the serial number from the side of the unit (should begin with an "M", usually on the left), and ask nicely here;
Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the code is unique to radio?
On my old Escort, I pulled out the stereo once, and the code was written on the top or back of it I think. Might be worth a go....

I'll have a look, thanks for that.
I'm going to have to take it out anyway to find the serial number.
