Looking nice m8. Yep it is a shame about the fuel, but i suppose while us brits keep on paying the price the goverment will continue to give us a good shafting ( dont get me going on that )
. What engine is in your scorp ? I really miss the mid range punch of the cossie & have yet to drive another V6 of similar cc that has that amount of torque
. I sold it to a guy from the Scorpio site so at least it will continue to be looked after. You never know, one day Optimax might come down to 50p per litre & i'll buy another & supercharge it....then again pigs might fly
. try & keep hold of your scorp m8. wont be long before they are worth a bit of money. Cheers... Craig

A few pics of mine
24v

Tuck away now for winter, and waiting for some more extensive modding, hopefully finishing the full body kit and may even get the 4.0l built!!!
turbo diesel, its a battered old war horse, was mechanically shot but now been put right, mainly with a lot of spare cossie bits, still deciding what colour to paint it, but due to lack of space i keep this one at work, you can just see the escort behind it too!

Yeah they aint the prettiest of cars but your right there is something about them, maybe because it was the last of the BIG fords, the last ford to had solely RWD and in a way the last true ford cossie. If ford hadnt of bought jag we would still have a scorpio or what ever it would be called, but as they then had the S type and Xj's there wasnt any point making a big saloon with an oval on it they had 2 with a far better name and image
