How many people can claim a car changed their lives? I can


A female friend was press officer for Ford dealer Gordon Ford in Stockport, and she invited me to the launch party for the Ford Granada in their showroom. There she introduced me to another friend of hers - and within six months the mutual friend and I were living together and within 12 months married and had a daughter!

To quote one of the characters in 'Last of the Summer Wine': The marriage was fine at first - right up to when they took the photographs - then it went downhill!!!
