if you need the radio code post it up here and i'll pm you the code the 1.5 din units start when a M

imho, this Interface Module (RIM) is purely to electrically connect the stalk controller (on the steering wheel column) to the radio/ head-unit and has nowt to do with the CD Changer. That's certainly the case for Mk2 Mondeo setup.

if you are going to start wiring up car stereos in your bedroom, firstly make sure you know what you are doing, secondly if it worked in the car it will work in the house (especially if you remove everything with it). seriously, i've had some setups in my bedroom when i was younger that would make your eyes water (no wonder my parents used to moan at me) and if you are wanting to run an amp so you can power a sub you are better off buying an aftermarket headunit with a dedicated subwoofer RCA output not using high-low level converters - the definition just isn't the same.

i got the car stereo from my moms boyfriend and it took some time to find a connection diagram.
and now when i have found one and tested and it dosent work i need to know if i need the things i dont got.
and the amp is needed to get the sound to the speakers.
