Hi All,

Me & the Missus are considering a Kuga in the near future, now having owned various fords over the years I know most of the common ford quirks, but is there anything particular to the Kuga that I should be checking out prior to buying?

There are none that I know of with the Kuga It's a really good car.
But don't get the 18'' inch wheels there a hard ride with a lot of tyre noise and rubbish in snow I should know I have got them that's why my new kuga that I have ordered that I get in April has the standard 17'' inch wheels. :whistling:
P.S. enjoy your new Kuga. :)

They hold their value well don't they. I'd like a 4x4 so I can tow my MR2 to tracks and stuff, but they seem to start at £15k. I need to wait for more depreication to have taken hold :}

They certainly do hold thier value! were going to look at a 58 plate TDCI 136 on Saturday with 12,000 miles, for £15,495, so watch this space.....

Hi Guys, Just joined the forum,
If you're coming from an St220 - you might want to check out the 163, Kuga's in short supply at the moment (particularly mettalics due to the sourcing problems in Japan)

If buying not new, check things like the gear lever gaiter (leather can crack), also the alloys, the polished face can (will) corrode, also check the public part of ETIS (if you have a registration number) to see the full spec of a car.

Newer Kuga's, check that you get the spec you ordered, a number of kuga's recently delivered have been supplied without bluetooth, different wheels, different colors

Maybe you've got sorted already by now, but good luck.
