hi can any one tell me how to get the alternator out of my wifes 2003 ka style it has the dura tec engine ???????

For a 2003 onwards with duratec engine:

1) Remove inner wheel arch

2) Remove offside headlight ,might have to remove bumper a bit to assist

3) Remove power steering pump

4) disconnect os engine mount and raise engine

5) unbolt alt and wireing

6) remove alternator through vacant headlight hole

hi thanks for answering but that didnt work it turned out  easier to remove the inlet manifold and then extract the alternator to the left .
