hi ya
you will need 3 litre"s of antifreeze for your car, it holds about 7 in total, thats if its not automatic
buy it from ford it is good stuff and it lasts years
done mine a few years back when i needed to change the thermostat
the heater is very very good good luck

Ever noticed that putting "anal" in front of some ford model names makes them sound funny? Fiesta, Probe, Ranger. Explorer, Maverick etc... lol

i went to fords and they say just to use tap water and mix with anti freeze 50/50.they sold me the anti freeze for £12.54 for a five litre bottle and says that it would last five yearsin my system.
got home disconnected the lowest pipe off the radiator and removed fluid.washed through system with hose pipe to clean out the gunk.
put one litre of antifreeze in first then one litre of water.done this till i had put four litres into system.mixed the last litre together in the plastic bottle that i was using to top off the system.checked the system daily and topped up when needed.
in total used 2.5 litres anti freeze and 2.5 litres of water.
hope this helps anybody in the future. :driving:

bah humbug, they aint half got tight on the longevity of the antifreeze since they made the mk3 :}

the stuff they stuck in it when made was good for 10 years & thats what i was hoping for for the replacements stuff too seen as my mota is fast approaching the big 10 soon ( 5 months )

good to know the requirements though seen as its on my todo list for this year before the cold weather hits once more

Too many mods to list in here but they can be seen here
