Hi There
Does anyone know what could be the matter with my 1.4 TDCI engine.

I replaced the cam belt and got a mechanic to set up the timing, however he got it wrong and it broke a few rocker arms, I replaced rocker arms and got engine running and it drives ok too.

However there is a PUTTING noise coming from right hand sideof engine on tick over and also a bit of smoke when accelerating up bank.

Does anyone know what is wrong ?
