have had my 1.8td endura mondeo 77000 miles for bout a year now with no probs at all.this last week it has been trying to stall on idle every few seconds(doesnt actually stall) it idling at 750 same as ever but drops very slightly every few seconds as though it gonna stall.no smoke at all and runs fine when driving.the only thing i have noticed is a ticking sound from the black box where the throttle cable go into at the top front on the engine.i have read it could be a air block or vacuum leak? i am off to cornwall to visit my daughter in 10 days time and would like to sort it before i go as its 350miles!
