Hi folks

I'm going to be fitting a remote central locking kit to my Mk1 XR4x4 but need to know whether the central locking system is a positive or negative feed - does anyone out there know. Tried looking at the Haynes manual wiring diagrams but am not really any more the wiser.

Cheers

The system is definately negative triggered, on my 88 sierra the yellow wires to the lock motors are the unlock triggers and the white wires the lock triggers, hope that helps.

Thanks for that Steve, will save me hours of trawling the net, hit or miss wiring and a few grey hairs!
