Can anybody please identify the DVD radio satnav (believed to be Blaupunkt), which was factory-fitted in my Mondeo estate Titanium 2.0 May 2008? The manuals that came with the vehicle do not refer to the model fitted and I have been unable to find this particular model or any manual for it.

Any help gratefully received and any ideas on where to download a manual would be fantastic. Ford dealers seem unable or unwilling to help...

Picture would be helpful!

Cannot recall from where I obtained the attached (possibly even this site!) but have attached document you may find useful.

Many thanks. The attached image didn't work, but from the pdf sent by Alan we have identified it as the Travelpilot NX, which agrees with the other post. Image attached now to confirm.

We will now try and locate a manual. We are getting intermittent GPS reception, sometimes five satellites, sometimes no satellites. Do anyone have any idea where the satellite aerials are located on the Mondeo?

9 times out of 10 it's the antenna on the roof it is part of the radio aerial base. It corrodes over time somehow and results in poor reception.

I think that this may be the manual you are looking for here

Many thanks, Jonsen. Will take the aerial base off the roof and have a look.

Many thanks also, Alan, for sending the manual. We've had the car from new and never had a manual for the satnav, so have had to try and work out all the intricacies of it on our own...! Much appreciated.

I'm looking for an update to the Blaukpunt Sat Nav DVD for my Titanium X 2008. Anyone have any idea where I can get one cheaper than the silly prices of £300 + quoted.

Thanks
Mark
