Hi,
Have a 1998 1.4 Puma and the windscreen doesn't appear to demist now; the light comes on when the switch is pressed but thats about all. I've tried the rear heater and there's a noticeable load put on the engine when engaged. However, when the switch for the front is pressed, the light comes on but no change in engine note (at idle) like for the rear. Should it be noticeable anyway?? :smoking:

Any ideas what 'might' be wrong or where to start looking first?? <_<

Cheers,

Steve

have you checked the fuse(s) for it, failing that it could be the multiplug(s) on the bottom corner(s) of the screen, usually located behind the black plastic grille in front of the screen.

Hi and thanks,

Haven't checked those yet but will do when the uva 1/2 is back from Norwich today! She's out shopping! :smoking:

I'll let you know how it goes and thanks again for the advice. ;)
