Hi All,
I have a 1997 Escort 1.6 Ghia X Salon. That unless saved will be going to the great beer can factory in the sky. If it were a snake, it would shed its skin and live happily ever after, but as it is not it has failed its MOT mainly on rust and will probably cost me in the region of £600 to repair along with a few other issues. This for me is not worth it but I am not a body repairer or mechanic. The engine I would say is in good condition only 90K, the interior also in good condition. I am loathed to trash it. Nevertheless, I will do so if a new home is not found.
I am not sure if there is any demand for this Rare escort (now I say rare because I have only ever seen two others). If anybody is interested drop me a response, but be quick.

sometimes its wiser to break for parts, quite a few people may show interest in tidy higher spec interiors, engine and other parts.

ya already thought about that, just don't have the time or place to store it. Never mind breakers he we come!

tbh, breaking escorts is pointless now anyway. I broke my 1.8 ghia x and sold very few of the bits off it. still have headlights, taillights, had until a few days ago RS2K brakes, back bumper, spoiler, RS accessory side skirts.

I was able to sell leather seats (for £85), angel eye headlights, black lexus lights, cat back and induction kit
