Hi Chaps,

My old man has a top of the range galaxy as his company car.

At the moment, you can only get the wing mirrors to fold in using the button on the drivers door.

I was wondering if you could programme them to shut when locking the car on the remote, and to open when unlocking the car? If you can, how do you do it?

Rig something up to the solenoids in the door locks to trigger the mirror fold. When its done, take some pics and post up how it all went

Better not go playing with it as its a company car!

If theres no easy option then I wont bother! Just beeing lazy!

Hello,

In the Fiesta you have to link the mirrors to the key via the on board computer. Try going into the trip computer and looking at the settings. Also, by reading the owners handbook, it should also expain how to do it in there.
