Footwell lights.

My cougar doesnt have footwell lights when i open the door, do you know if the wiring will be there to put some in though?

if lucky the bulb holders might just want bulbs...

Have a look under the bottom edge of the dash. If you are lucky the holders will be there (not always in the holes sometimes taped up further back along the harness).

If they aren't there you will need some bulb holders and splice into the wiring to the coutesy light.

I have just added rear foot well lights to my Mondeo by buying "strip LEDs" from Ebay, only cost a few pounds. I cable tied them to a bar under the seat out of sight. Then wired them into the back of the front foot well lights running the wires under the carpet.

Thanks, i will have a look today. How much are the holders, couple of quid? I hope they are already there. :)

best place to get them is a breakers, then can get as much wire as poss on them, to locate wherever you want.

I will be very surprised if your car does not have the footwell lights, they can be awkward to find but i am sure they will be there :L
