Went to buy a fuel filter today from ford’s only to be told that my 1.6 petrol C max has no filter. Can this be the case?

My Garage

MK3 Mondeo TDCI Ghia 6 Speed.

MK1 Focus C Max Zetec 1.6 Petrol.

Previous Fords: Escort MK6 Ghia TD, Fiesta MK5 Ghia, Escort MK4 L.

Yes this is the case, the only filter is within the fuel tank and does not need changing. Well unless you buy a new tank!! So dont worry.
