Hello everyone,

New here, i would like to share a non interminent problem i had (twice) with a mk 3 galaxy 06.Basically the driver side door & passenger rear doors will not unlock on the remote but the left hand side doors will unlock.The engine will start but no light and dash will not function, all the outside light will work, hazard light will also work but not the indicators, no heating/aircon, radio will work. 1st i replaced some fuse in the back, 2nd time call RAC who checked all fuses under the gloves compartment all works fine.But then it all came back to live by itself actually while we have the fuse box open...bit of a ghost because neither i or the rac guys were touching anything.

Since yesterday the car starts fine with no such problem but i notive the red( i) flash on the dashboard but nothing on the computer when i OK it.Anyone had this weird problem with a ford before?

Really appreciate some thought on that,

This works on a mk3 mondeo, and knowing ford, its quite possible it will work on the galaxy. Try the test (link is grey "test") http://www.mirez.co.uk/AlarmProbs.htm

Update on this dashboard/Driver mal function:

The Driver/passenger door will only open with the key.Engine will start and if i leave the engine running for about 10 mins the dashboard will suddenly light up and working properly with the correct settings.The problem as i said is not intermittent.
