Does anyone know of a good how-to for DIY fibreglassing? I've got a few clever ideas I want to toy with and I kinda want to get it right
Here's my answering machine message:

"Hello this is the voicemail of Brick Vader. I had the 3 bean Jalapeno and chilli salsa with double cheese, and I washed it down with a gallon of gin. I'll be in and out all day...............beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"

what i do know is it doesn't stick to thick plastic (like the good carrier bags, and poly sheeting) i have filled a hole before (using filler) before by mixing it up applying to the plastic sheet, and slapping it on. flattening it out, leave to dry, then peel the plastic off. it leaves a nice smooth finish, so won't need as much sanding. :L (or no sanding in that case)

Usually, on cars they use a chopped strand which you mix like body filler, using the same hardner (though us a bit more as it takes a bit longer to go off than filler). It is much the same to use except it is much harder to sand. As Siruncle says, you can "shape" it with a plastic bag. If you are thinking of using a fibre glass resin and matting then it's really messy stuff, you really need to wear gloves and the vapours can cause a nervous reaction. It's also REALLY itchy.

Glasplies of Southport Merseyside do a good DIY GRP guide, you can download from their website, if you want more high tech info Easy Composites are also a good outfit to deal with, they have some good videos on infusion systems on you tube.
