I've an 06 S-Max and the central locking has just started playing up intermittently.

When I lock using the fob the central locking all the doors except the drivers door lock and the alarm correctly sets. (When doing this I normally do a double press to activate the dead lock.)

If I then unlock using the fob, open and close the door then lock using the fob again and this time all the doors lock correctly including the drivers door.

- anyone got any suggestions?

Sounds like a dodgy motor in the door. See if you can get the doorcard off and have a squirt with some WD40, could be a stiff linkage or similar.

Thanks, I'll give that a go at the weekend and let you know how it goes.
