I've recently purchased a pretty well used mk4 fiesta (1999 plates) as my first car.
unfortuneately, while all the important bits are there, it's missing a few of the accesory type parts.

things like a lockable filler cap (replaced by a universal emergency filler cap), the spare key, and the owners handbook.

is there anywhere I can get replacements for these items?

A Local Motor factors will supply you with a locking fuel cap, unfortunately it will have it's own key,

as for a spare key try phoning round your local locksmiths, (Fords are hellish expensive at the best of times)

Owners handbooks are like hens teeth, you just can't get them, unless you happen on one in a scrappy

since first posting this, I found a suitable locking fuel cap (local motor factor, as you said)
went direct to ford for my spare key. cost me about £7. although it should be noted that my car is old enough that the keys don't have the electronic chip found in more recent models, so that pushed the price down a lot.

given up trying to find a handbook. I've taken to getting the important info (tyre pressures, fusebox layouts ect) from the internet, and printing them out myself.
