I want to check that the compressor / clutch is working. I dont want to get it re-charged if the compressor is knackered. The clutch isn't engaging and i believe there is a way of manually engaging it by shorting two points of the AC fuse, is this true and if so how do i do it ? I have a 2002 1.6 Focus.
Thanks

its the low pressure switch on the receiver/dryer you want to bypass/join wires together on, this should cause the compressor to kick in.
