Hi guys, new to the forum, when i bought the car i thought it came with multi ambient lighting but its only got red. Is it easy enough to change the color or is it a big job?

Cheers guys

Sorry, that link explains how to change it for the Titanium (it's a big job)

The Titanium X should have multi-coloured ambient lighting. In the overhead console, there should be a knob with a button next to it with what looks like a paint palette. When the doors are shut and the headlights are on, you should be able to turn the knob to increase/decrease the brightness of the ambient lighting, and press the palette button to change the colour.
When the doors are open, the lights will lock to red (since when the door is open, the light in the door will be viewable to cars behind, and it is a legal requirement that only a red light show at the rear).
If it's not working, you should probably contact your dealer.

thanks for information.

we are still waiting for the delivery of our new titanium x, but the wife is excited about the interior lighting.

shes not fussy about the other technology in the new focus, for example the auto parking or the new ecoboost engine, only the new cosmetic lighting and paint colour. lol:
