Hi I've had my Ka for a month now from new.  It gets really, really mucky up the back & I was wondering if fitting mud flaps would work in cutting this down, either just rear or both front & rear.  Shouldn't have got a cream coloured car of course!!!

mudflaps will probably only reduce muck on the lower parts of the bumper behind the back wheels, not the back of the car, as this is usually swirled up as air flows over the car when driving, its this time of year i'm afraid.

Hi daisymai, we had rear mudflaps on our old petrol KA which I fitted myself but the car still got as dirty as not having it to be honest..but even so we are still in the process of getting them off our old and onto our new Diesel KA..they are only around 20 quid so not too much I guess..I wonder if getting front aswell as the rear will help much? not sure if it'll go with our Crystal White tho :(

you might find a longer boot spoiler or fat rear bumper is probably the only way that you'll reduce it up the back, but its destiny on hatchbacks.

this pic and link explains it a bit although its not a ford ka.
