My code reader arrived yesterday unfortunate the instructional video was in Chinese and was no help anyway I decided to give it ago, went out to the car after installing the software, it asked what com port to use, all except port 3 were in use, so I opted for port 3, it told me connect the reader to the laptop then to the car press ok, the select ecu as nothing popped up in the big white box I clicked on the boxes on the left hand side, I tryed all the boxes, and they all open and I get told no dtc's but the live data doesn't change any ideas?

Hi, you've got to have your ignition switched on for it to read the ecu. Also, what year is your Mondy as the early ones may not work with f-super (depends if it's diesel or petrol, I think)

Did you install both sets of drivers?

In device manager you should have one under COM ports and one under USB, The
one under COM ports will have the port number.

Ive had anything from COM 1 to COM 14 on various devices.
