Hoping for some help please.

Anytime I open the windows or sunroof on my titanium hatch, I get a strong smell of diesel. This is regardless of whether the car is moving or at a standstill.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for your replies.

I took the car to the dealer and (unsurprisingly) they found nothing. They even claimed that they couldn't smell the diesel, the imbeciles.

Time for a new dealer I think.

Mondeo-hopeful, what do you mean by your comment?

What I mean is all 4.5's will be in warranty, I'd rarely ask on a forum about car faults whilst in warranty personally speaking.

I have a oily smell inside the car after a weekend sealed up - traced to a diesel overflow problem - it's easy to check for - look in the wheelarch behind the filler.
