Saw this somewhere the other day (may have been on here before the site problems). That is one cool motor - but dunno if I could live without leccy windows and stuff now.

Holy mackeral!A mint dagenham dustbin,been in a few of those in my time(non of them mint lol)...Thing is tho, would I pay that much for an old 'tina' or get one these EVO4 things fot the same money,choices,choices...

How would the insurance company insure it, as a classic car,or current value ? My insurance company would think i was winding them up insuring my mk5 with a value of 9 grand. :}

Fantastic! Just imagine you took it out on the road and it got bent though.

I hope whoever has bought it has got somewhere decent to store it. I'm a firm believer in old cars being used rather than on display in museums. However, I think this one is an exception.

its the sort of car that wouldnt be used, be taken to shows on the back of a recovery truck to keep the miles low! i know people use to that with ford capris!!!

I had a Y reg 2.3 Ghia (with electric windows and central locking that i converted + a moss security alarm with total closure) had it not hit a tree trunk after some rumpy pumpy in the woods i would probably still have it now.It was so flash,even the tape deck had rewind on it and auto track search,not to mention the graphic equilizer.
st24 saloon,state blue,twin exit powerflow exhaust, 12,500K Benilux HID headlights,footwell lights,2nd traction switch with latching relay to operate all interior lights,modded rear lights giving 6 tail lights + 4 brake lights,trip computer.

It's not brand new - it's 23 years old or whatever. Just because it hasn't been driven or registered etc etc...
