Hi guys, ive recently bought a 95 mondeo s/wagon and the remote accidently went swimming :( and doesnt work even with a new battery.
Now whenever i drive, the hazard lights intermittently flash on and off,is annoying as well as probably illegal.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Might also add the red alarm(?) indicator flashes three times then is off for about 2 secs.
I cant even attempt an alarm test as the indicators start flashing as soon as a door is opened..indicators eventually cease flashing while car is stationary, but continue flashing on and off while car is moving.

Nope,its still playing up.
Hazards dont flash when i unlock with the key, only when i open the door..oh,and when i start the car,a beeping noise starts and goes for about a minute, then stops. Is this related?

you could try an ecu reset by dissconnecting the battery for 20min, for all you know it could be static in the alarm module upsetting it, good luck
