  2. Interior / Exterior (Mk3 Mondeo)
So I have recently become the holder of a ST220 Estate and one of the previous owners probably backed the car into a snow bank or something and the rear bumper is cracked all around and barely stays on the car at this point. The problem is that it's almost impossible to find a new rear bumper...
  3. Suspension/Wheels/Brakes/Steering (Mk3 Mondeo)
Hey all, I've got some eBay replacement bolts for the inner end of the 'tennis racquet' arms that the springs rest in. The eccentric on the bolts is 90 degrees out of phase, if the widest part of one washer points to 12 o'clock, the widest of the other to 3 o'clock. Is this right? Or have I...
  4. Interior / Exterior (Mk5 Mondeo)
Hi, Hoping someone maybe able to shed some light on this problem. My 2016 mk5 estate seems to have developed a fault with the power tailgate. It only opens half way automatically and then starts a clicking sound. If I open it by hand fully it wont close via any buttons just continue to click...
  5. Electrical (Mk4 Mondeo)
i'm pretty sure the washer fluid must be leaking somewhere, as I'm filling the reservoir far too often i have a mk4 diesel estate - but i can't find any obvious wet patches through the car (I have just had to replace both rear brake light/tail light bulbs, a week apart from each other...) - the...
  6. Interior / Exterior (Mk3 Mondeo)
The chrome is peeling off on the chrome strip fitted to the tailgate handle. Is it possible to replace this..I also need to replace the microswitch on the tailgate release as it only seems to work on the right hand side of the rubber cover..the release button was very sensitive on my last mk3...
  7. Electrical (Mk4 Mondeo)
Hi everyone Since I bought my Mondeo earlier in the year, the rear wiper and washer have both not worked. I finally got round to doing some investigations and found all fuses and relays OK, no other electrical issues that I've noticed on the car. I've checked the wiring to the wiper motor - 3...

I have a Mondeo Estate Titanium 2013 and the third, high level brake light is not working. Can anyone advise how to remove this to examine or replace?
  9. Interior & Exterior (Mk1/Mk2 Mondeo)
Hi all - After reading the forums as a guest for some time I've joined TF today to ask you all this question. How do I remove the foam rear seat from my 1998 Mondeo estate ? The foam pad is hinged under the front edge on two metal links which are anchored to the metal body by white plastic...

  11. Interior / Exterior (Mk4 Mondeo)

  12. Interior / Exterior (Mk3 Mondeo)
I just finished fitting my chrome weather strips on my Mondeo estate since the original ones looked terrible. The chrome ones weren't made for the estate so the rear door strips needed a little cutting to make them fit but they look awesome altough they don't cover the whole door. The original...

  14. Mondeo Mk1/2 General Discussion
It's been a long time since I posted on here, but I'm trying to work out how rare one of my Mk1's is. I bought a very tidy 1996 aubergine Ghia X 24v Estate earlier this year and the reason for thinking it may be extremely rare is it's an estate with a full phase 2 RS bodykit fitted, I know of...
  15. Diesel Engines (Mondeo Mk3)
Hi everyone, Reckon this is a common problem but as far as I know I think my EGR to Intercooler pipe has a split in it. I can feel the split in it underneath just after the first bend but just wanted to check I have the right pipe in mind. I have attached a photo (apologies if it's not clear)...

  18. Suspension/Wheels/Brakes/Steering (Mk3 Mondeo)
It's a Mk3 estate done 212K and it knocks constantly at the rear. Vague and skips slightly sideways when cornering and hit a dip or sunken manhole cover/drain. From what I've read it sounds like the mounting bushes. Some sellers state same bushes for all Mk3s others state different for the...
  19. Suspension/Wheels/Brakes/Steering (Mk3 Mondeo)
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and found it very useful in many many ways. Thanks to contributors who take time to read and help others for small bits or big issues. Here I come to the point. I bought a nice 2004 mk3 estate about a month ago, 2.0 TDCi. I knew I had to reniew the discs and pads...
  20. Mondeo Mk4 General Discussion
My tailgate doesn't open smoothly - it sticks at various different points, depending on how you open it. It's just had new gas struts, which are the correct ones for the car and fitted the correct way up, so it doesn't seem to be them. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions?
