It's getting to that time when my timing belt will need changing. Car has just gone trough 90000 miles and is 9 years old, 2009 plate.
I know Ford recommend 10 years or 125000 miles but I will change this summer early as I interned to keep the car until it dies :)

I have a MK2 Focus 1.6 TDCi that was made in early 2005. I'm just wondering when the timing belt needs to be changed. I looked in the Haynes manual and it said that it should have been changed after 125k miles, however my housemate who is a mechanic said that I don't need to get it done...
