Owning Experience

Owned For: 5 years
Good Points: 6 speed, 2.0 pulls well but isn't as thrusty as some hot hatches, good space and seats 4 adults. More reliable and trouble free than VW's I have had.
Bad Point: Clutches, dmf etc go easy. Dreaded cat heatshield was a pain rusting so badlu. Manifold heathsheild also rusted off on bottom bracket.

Overall Rating:

Best car I ever owned was sad to see it go. Still miss it!

Shame ford cut corners on some items like the heatshields that rust and then rattle especially the cat one.

Never let me down. Had tyre wear issues before discovering computer alignment like blacktec system. Not bad on fuel although clutch was heavy for town/city driving. Brakes were very good compared to standard focus models. Servicing wasn't to bad. Had to stop a little under the sill of the wing mirror. Speed box made for good fuel consumption. The alloys corroded after 5 years but alot do.
