I bought a diagnostic cable to connect my laptop to the OBD plug on my car.
I've just run the diagnostic and it's returned 2 stored codes.

The first is P0401 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected.

The second is P1131 which it says is a manufacturer specific code and to refer to the service manual!

Basically I need to know what these codes mean and what I need to do to fix the problem

thanks. Would that be the o2 (lambda?) sensor then?
I was using the software to check the voltage on the 2 o2 sensors and Bank 1 was looking low at 0.01V, where as Bank 2 was usually at 0.72V.
