Owning Experience

Owned For: 13 months
Good Points: spacious, comfortable, drives like a car, safe, reliable
Bad Point: could do with a more powerful engine, complicated parking, too big for some

How It Drives:
Fuel Economy:
Overall Rating:

Good seating postiion, allround visibility, space and variability, driving comfort (drives like a normal car, which is a huge positive for such a big MPV), engine is a workhorse (reliable, enough grunt for normal driving, no DPF), nice details, low cabin noise.

Size (not a negative as such, but a fact to consider), could do with a more powerful engine, few half-finished details (window blinds went into door trim more than once, some mechanical details are made of plastic and can't take a lot of punishment, idiotic boot carpet, that cannot be cleaned properly), when driving with full load, brakes aren't too convincing, no spare wheel.

All in all, a great car, if you need to drive lot of people or stuff around. Works as an everyday car, but just fits better on long motorway journeys. The chassis is absolutely brilliant for this size and it gives you a lot of confidence. Even when driven enthusiastically, it stays safe and surefooted. I haven't seen the ESP blink once (only in really horrific winter conditions). If in need of one, take a more powerful drivetrain. The car is pretty heavy and needs every kW it can get.
