Hi, picked up a 1 owner well looked after 2013 fiesta recently. Everything seems fine other than a bit of rust just Infront of the rear wheels on the sill. I know it's coming up for 10 years old now but I don't see as many rusty fords as I did 10 years ago. Anyone else seen this on their fiesta? I've attached some rubbish pictures. I'll take some better ones in the light of anyone's interested.

My 2014 looks rust free probably a lot stones chips in the area driven or its had damage, the sill area is easier to blend and match the colour up as its not a straight flat panel.

Yeah I thought stone chips. Hoping it's just that and not from the inside out. Popped the rubber bung out of the sill and inside what I can see looks rust free. That blistering on the paint higher up might be harder to disguise but it's still quite low so shouldn't be seen too easily.

Think I'll wait for some warmer weather to tackle that though.

Looks like its bubbling under the paint, maybe worse on the inside.

Yeah that was one of my concerns. A lot of bubbling in the paint too. Have to give it a clean when it gets warmer and see what's going on. Will be annoying if it is rotten seen as it isn't too old.

I've got a cheapo borescope that I might poke up to look at the inside.
