Good Points: Great spec and build quality. Drives well and looks good.
Bad Point: Find the gearing a little odd at times, seem to be constantly changing.

Overall Rating:
Bought a Mk3.5 Titanium X in Impact blue a month ago, 10 months old with 2.5k on the clock for £16.5kk via Ford direct. Have had 2 Mk1 Foci, a Ford direct Zetec and then a Ghia, bought new for 10k just as the Mk2 was launched and been virtually trouble free for 10 years. This is the 1st Focus I have really liked the look of since the Mk1. So far so good, the spec is amazing, how far they have come in 10 years. Find the stearing not quite as positive in feel as Mk1, but still good. It's a bit longer than Mk1, so manoeuvres in tight spaces a bit trickier, especially with all the alarms going off! The gearing seems a bit odd at times. 2nd doesn't seem to pick up from very slow speeds and it wants to change from 4,5 and 6 almost as soon as you select the previous 1. Not sure if I should switch off the gear change indication? The screen went off once, but came back on again after engaging reverse and having the camera on and 1 day when it was raining the sensors all seem to be going off when I wasn't near anything? Overall, so far a very nice car, it will take me a bit of time to get used to after 15 years of driving Mk1s. Sometimes feel all the tech is a bit distracting, other times really usefull. Can't see this 1 being around in 10 years, will be like a mobile phone, out of date in 3 years as all the tech will probably be obsolete. Wish the software could be updated on line at home.
