4 wheel geometry check Advise

1937 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  maddy1
Just had me wheels aligned, i did question the [color:red]-2.14'[/color] bit on the front RH side, the guy said its ok,

What do you experts think? is it all ok? i do understand the readings but are they good for the mondy? this 4 wheel alignment is new to me, I've only ever had tracking done, so i don't have much clue. :)

Rant time,
the wife's only gone and curbed one of me wheels :annoyed:
Rant over.

Muchas gracias

Which one did she kerb, the front right.
Before or after you had the alignment done.

Camber can't be adjutsed on the MK3,unless you fit an adjusting kit,not too sure if they are available for the MK3.

You can compare your with my old cars geometry.

mines a little bit different than yours but im not sure what there meant to be?

Thanks for posting.
hi
while i don't consider my self a expert that o/s/f wheel reading don't look right to me, but is it only 14 minutes out?is that right? and thats why he said its ok?, only parts affecting caster reading is lower arm & arm mounting on sub frame ( as stated neither are adjustable) ,reason o/s/f slightly changed after adjustment was the rear had been adjusted to within spec and front is measure off the rear.
but whether you leave it is up to you.
