for some reason the display on this unit is constantly blinking and despite pressing various buttons and turning it on and off it still does it. everything else works ok, its just damn annoying.any ideas ??

it really is getting on my t*ts now .tried all sorts , still it blinks constantly

Sounds like a dry joint in the unit itself.
