Elm327 cable on eBay, or loads of places. You do need a good one, tunnelrat I think I've heard mentioned as suppliers of good units. The Fsuper2 cable is a clone and may be fine, who knows. I've had two cables from eBay from different suppliers, lost in the mists of time, both worked fine. But not all do by any means...

abs kicking in,no dashboard lights,have been told it is the abs ring,is this correct ,and how much are the to buy and replace,also will i damage the car more if i drive it the way it is,could i disconnect the abs,if so where and how,

On transit ABS ring easy to change and cheap too. Just held on with loctite

10 year old thread. Already been mentioned about swapping the ring, read the posts about Mondeos having the ABS sensor
in the wheel bearing not a separate ring.
